About Credit Owl
Credit Owl helps you keep your reported credit-card utilization in the 1–8% sweet spot. Track each card's balance, limit, and statement close date, get reminders telling you exactly when to pay so your reported balance lands where you want it, and optionally connect a bank to keep balances and dates current automatically. Credit Owl is for educational use only and is not financial advice.
Common questions
My bank didn't share a credit limit. Some banks don't report a limit through the connection. Open the card from the Cards tab and tap to set your credit limit by hand, and your utilization will calculate correctly.
How do reminders know when to tell me to pay? Credit Owl factors in each issuer's typical reporting and payment-processing timing, then schedules a "pay by" reminder early enough that your payment posts before the statement closes.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription? Credit Owl Pro is billed through your Apple ID. Manage or cancel anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or from Settings → Manage Subscription inside the app. You can also restore a previous purchase from Settings → Restore purchases.
How do I delete my data? Open Settings → Delete all data to permanently remove every card, balance, and preference from your device and disconnect any linked banks.
Is the app lock secure? The optional Face ID / Touch ID / passcode lock is handled entirely by iOS. Credit Owl never stores or sees your biometrics.
Privacy & your data
Your information stays on your device — Credit Owl runs no user accounts and no analytics, and when you connect a bank it's through a secure provider with bank-level encryption (we never see your login). Read the full Privacy Policy and Terms of Use for details.
